Civil War
We have a list of several hundred men from the Town of Fenton who served in the Civil War at the Town of Fenton Historian's office. This information was kindly supplied by Mr. John Goodnough of the Binghamton Civil War Historical Society and Round Table. We
greatly apprciate his contribution to our records.
Information taken from copies of Broome County records in Town of Fenton Historian’s Office. Rewritten 4/30/2011. These individuals were from Port Crane only. No identification was given on Binghamton residents as to which township they resided.
It is possible some men from Hillcrest were recorded in the Binghamton section. No men were listed from North Fenton so it is assumed they registered as Port Crane. Please note this is only a partial list.
